Young Dancers Academy
- Nurturing our future dancers -
Young Dancers Academy (YDA) was founded in 2009, with a mission to propagate the art of dance and provide quality ballet education. We believe in promoting dance as a form of enjoyment, as well as a means for lifelong learning. Our students develop self-discipline at a young age and are motivated to perform to their utmost ability, to reach their potential. Our ballet classes offer are catered to various age groups including ballet classes for toddlers and graded syllabus classes for children. YDA is a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Approved Examination Centre and our teachers. YDA has both RAD Registered Teachers as well as teachers holding the CSTD Teaching Certificate and CSTD Teaching Diploma.
Young Dancers Academy has seen my older daughter from 4 years old in Baby Ballet to 16 years old in Advance. The discipline of ballet lessons have gone beyond just this art form to other aspects of her life such as resilience, determination, and perseverance. I am so glad my younger daughter is also a part of YDA, benefiting from the training, and growing with the love and care of the principal and her team

Young Dancers Academy is an outstanding dance school that grooms promising young dancers. Under Ms Cheryl’s patient and intricate guidance, my girl is able to slowly unveil her potential in dancing which I never knew existed. The many performance and competition opportunities that are given certainly bring all aspiring ballerinas to greater heights. I look forward to my girl developing further in her passion for dance under YDA.
I have two daughters learning ballet at YDA. My eldest daughter has been learning under Ms Lisa, the principal & founder of YDA, for more than 10 years now. Ms Lisa is a passionate and patient teacher who ensures that every girl is able to show their true potential in ballet. Really grateful to have her as their ballet teacher

YDA’s teachers are professional and encouraging to the young ones. Their premise is well-equipped. These are the reasons why although my family has moved away from the YDA vicinity, I continue to send my daughters to YDA despite the longer commuting times. Big thumbs up! Thank you YDA!
