Yearly ballet examinations are conducted at YDA.
YDA offers Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), and Australian-based Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) syllabus classes and prepare students for exams yearly. YDA is also a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Approved Examination Centre. YDA has both RAD Registered Teachers as well as teachers holding the CSTD Teaching Certificate and CSTD Teaching Diploma. Heading the Exam Department is our Principal, Ms Lee, who is a qualified Teacher in both CSTD & RAD Exam Board.
The RAD is a UK-based examination board focusing on classical ballet syllabus. YDA has RAD classes from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2.
The CSTD syllabus was founded and established in Australia. It has many genres of dance including classical ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and theatrical dance. YDA offers CSTD classes from Pre-Ballet to Advance of the Classical Ballet syllabus as well as the CSTD Modern Jazz syllabus.
